If you are unable to make it to the RDS on the day of the auction, we offer two ways to bid remotely: proxy bidding and telephone bidding. The deadline for registering for remote bidding for the September auction is 5pm on Monday 26th September.
To bid remotely you will be required to:
1. Complete the online registration form (available here). This section of the website includes terms and conditions which should be read carefully prior to registration. To bid remotely, you must provide a €10 administration charge.
2. Copies of identification. You will need to upload a form of photo identification (such as a passport or current driving licence) and secondly proof of your address (such as a recent utility bill or a bank statement dated within the last 3 months) to the website.
3. Deposit. To bid on a property we will require a 10% deposit in advance of the auction (payable by cheque/ bank draft/ bank transfer). Please note that the deposit must be for 10% of your highest bid, subject to the minimum of €4,500. Drafts and cheques can be made payable to Allsop. If you require bank details to transfer the funds, please contact email@example.com.
The deposit must be sent to Allsop, St. Martin’s House, Waterloo Road, Dublin 4, for the attention of Joanne Fleming by hand or by post by 5pm on Monday 26th September.
We currently offer two ways to bid remotely:
- Proxy Bidding
You can authorise the auctioneer by prior arrangement to bid on your behalf up to your specified limit (subject to receiving the necessary documents and deposit).
- Telephone bidding
We will call you one or two lots before the property you have registered to bid on comes up (subject to receiving the necessary documents and deposit).
